Train in the Perfect Word of a Simulator
ULok3D is a training Simulator for Utility Locating. The trainee is immersed into a VR or 3D environment of a large area with buildings, streets, recreactional parks, parking lots, or any urban zone.
The trainee must walk around the buildings and seek for electrical poles, street lights, manholes, fire hydrant, etc. then locate the underground utilities using GPR antennas (1GHz and 500MHz) and/or an EM locator. A trainee must avoid obstructions, like vehicles, walls, trees, rocks, etc. The GPR carts can be pushed and the EM locator grabbed then moved to any non-obstructed spot.
